Half spheres are great for filling vases and urns - they provide fullness and roundness without the need for a full ball.  Not only do they fit better, but they also don't waste product.  

This one has short and narrow un-wired pine pieces.  The green pine is accompanied by miniature pine cones and dusted with micro bead faux snow.  The foam half-ball base is pierce-able, so additional floral sprays can be added if desired.
