Banksias are Australian wildflowers and popular garden plants with remarkable flower spikes, and woody fruiting "cones" and head.  Our artificial version is large and formidable, making it a great statement floral or focal point.  This one has a flower spike that is burgundy near the bottom and pink at the top, with light green mottling.  The flower cone is lightly chalked, giving the color a faded look.  It is surrounded by long, thin and serrated olive green leaves.  Its stem is thick and sturdy with a chalky wash that defines its texture.
