It's waterproof and lightweight but has the look of fabric!  The ice blue snowy background, green Christmas tree, snowman and red "Welcome" message are pieced together like a fabric collage of wool, canvas, and felt.  The faux buttons, sequins and stitching contribute to the illusion.
