This pretty butterfly is made from D. Stevens' designer ribbon fabric.  The top side is made from the same blue and white taffeta as our 2.5" Taffeta Acanthus Scroll Chinoiserie Ribbon.  The back side is royal blue dupioni. The two fabrics are fused together and accented with royal blue embroidery stitching.  Wires are securely stitched between the fabrics so you can manipulate the four wing sections to "pose" your butterfly in your creation. Underneath the butterfly there is a metal alligator clip that is attached via an elastic loop.  Don't need the clip? Simply open it and slide out of the elastic loop.
